Jake's baptism

O happy day! Jake was baptized today. It is a day for a mom & dad to be proud...and we are. It is a blessing to have both of our sons decide to follow Jesus and do it so wholeheartedly. Here are some moments from his baptism.

 

Getting baptized on the same day with best buddies, Chloe & Jasmine. They have been friends since they were babies. What a happy day for both of our families.

There were 5 baptisms today! Wow...what a joy it was to see all of these kids get baptized and share their testimony. It hit me later that all five of these kids are former "Cubbies" that I have had the privilege of teaching over the years. My friend and fellow Cubbie teacher, Amber, has taught each of these kids, too. Teaching in Cubbies has been a rewarding journey. We don't always see salvations at the preschool age, but it is awesome to see them come to Christ later on in their lives.

 

Will had the great honor of reading Jasmine's testimony. So sweet. He was so proud to do it.
