Today the Detroit Tigers won the championship game for the 6/7 year old Rookie league. We are so proud of Jake and all of his teammates! We had 3 great coaches and lots of supportive parents. Lew was the official scorekeeper at every game, which was a blast for him!
The boys got to play today on a field with a scoreboard and a sound system. At the beginning of the game, they announced every boy's name. The pep talk from their coach consisted of 3 silly jokes just to help them relax! :)
We're #1!
